Blended Learning

This class is conducted in a blended learning environment. The first six classes are conducted on-line (VLT) through a WebEx platform operated in conjunction with the National Institute of Corrections. After students register for the class they will receive an invitation and instructions on how to log onto the class site. The final two days (16 hours) will be (instructor Led) in-class portion. 


Thinking for a Change is a 25-session evidence based cognitive behavioral program designed for offenders. Students will learn how to co-facilitate the session first on-line then will have the opportunity to participate as a facilitator in a class-room setting. Thinking for a Change is the Montana Department of Corrections Cognitive Behavioral program utilized with its offender population.

Who Should Attend:  Case Managers/Workers, Supervisors, Others who desire to Co-facilitate Thinking for a Change groups with offenders.
