Description:
ICS-300 provides training and resources for personnel who require advanced application of incident management. The course expands upon information covered in the ICS-100 and ICS-200 courses. This course is intended for individuals who may assume a supervisory role in expanding incidents or Type 3 incidents. Enhance your Incident command skills and focuses on new concepts of the ICS. You will participate in group activities that introduce the development of the Incident Action Plan (IAP) and demonstrate the interactions between the Command and General Staff sections of the ICS.
Topics:
- National Incident Management System (NIMS) Command and Management component at expanding incidents
- Incident/event management process for supervisors and expanding Incidents as prescribed by the Incident Command System (ICS)
- Incident management process on a simulated incident
- Incident Action Plan (IAP) for a “regional” simulated incident
Prerequisites:
ICS-100 and ICS-200, IS-/ICS-700, IS-/ICS-800

Course Objectives: Students will review and discuss updated Taser Inc information Students will demonstrate proper handling and shot placement Students will demonstrate deploying a Taser into a target **Re-Certification for X2, X26, X26p or Taser 7 Dress: Duty dress & gear including Ballistic Vest. No firearms, ammunition or chemical agents. Plastic training firearms are recommended. Must bring safety/shooting glasses Safety: All Tasers & Cartridges must be checked in with Instructors before class starts Other Gear: If you are not from Montana State Probation & Parole, you must bring a Taser weapon & holster, at least 2 cartridges, and clear eye protection Pre-Requisite: Must have completed a full Taser End User Course.
