FAQ and Help

I can't see all of the course, why doesn't the course fit on my screen?

You can try to shrink or expand the window in which the course is displayed by pressing the CTRL button plus the + or - buttons or you need to adjust your screen to a higher resolution. For quick tutorial on how to do this, click here.

I get an error when trying to start a course, what do I need to do?

If you are logged in and get a pop up login error, close the error message and click Enroll Me. If you are not logged in and get the error, please log in.

All or part of the course doesn't work, why can't I see a picture or video?

You probably need to update your Flash Player. Flash Player is the software used for viewing some animations and movies. Contact your Service Desk and they will help you update it. We are moving away from Flash Player.

How do I adjust the volume on my headphones?

To open Volume Control, click Start, point to Programs, point to Accessories, point to Entertainment, and then click Volume Control.

I was told I could pay for an online course using a ProCard. What is a ProCard?

A ProCard is another term for a DOC issued credit card. Contact your supervisor for more information. No courses on the Online Training Center have a cost associated with it.

How do I get credit for the course I just finished?

For DOC Staff, you don't need to do anything. The Online Training Center generates a report that is entered into MINE on a weekly basis.
For Non-DOC staff, please print the certificate and follow your agency procedure.

None of this helped. I really need to chat with someone. Who do I ask for help?
